Renaissance Community Loan Fund and FHLB Dallas Grant $160K to Eight Mississippi Businesses Devastated by Tornadoes

Amory business owners with check

RCLF and FHLB Dallas provide grants to assist Amory, MS small business owners in Tornado recovery.

On August 28th , RCLF and Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas presented $20,000 grants to eight Amory business owners whose businesses were devastated by the tornadoes that ripped through the small town. As a member financial institution of FHLB Dallas, RCLF fulfills the two organizations shared mission of providing a variety of funding options to support affordable housing and community and business development needs.

We are thankful that FHLB Dallas offers the Small Business Recovery Grant Program and that we were able to help these small business owners, including one of our commercial clients, Jaco Machine & Fabrication, on their journey to recovery. A special thanks to JACO owners, Jody and Hope Powell for allowing us to host this amazing event at their location and to the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce staff and Executive Director Kelly Martin for helping us identify qualifying businesses.
