About the Mississippi Development Fund
Renaissance Community Loan Fund is addressing the need for affordable housing solutions in Mississippi through the Mississippi Development Fund. The MS Development Fund helps secure financing for builders and developers to add to Mississippi’s stock of affordable housing.
With adequate affordable housing, Mississippi is able to keep our current residents as well as attract new ones—producing growth in our local economies and opportunities for people at all income levels.
This loan is available for developers who are building affordable housing in Mississippi, including developers based outside of the state.
Our goal is to create opportunities for safe, affordable homeownership for Mississippians.
Small Developers Welcome
RCLF uses the MS Development Fund to make smaller loans or lines of credit to developers who are building smaller amounts of housing. This includes those developers who are just building a single unit at a time.
Gap Financing
If you’re a developer looking to fill a funding gap, we offer gap financing for developments. We can even partner with municipalities or other developers.
