Meet RCLF’s Business Coach Jaqueline (Jackie) James!

Jacqueline (Jackie) James is a Business Coach at Renaissance Community Loan Fund based in the Hattiesburg, Mississippi office. She provides professional coaching services to the organization’s small business clients throughout the commercial lending process. From planning and identification of business needs for hopeful entrepreneurs to providing strategic guidance to business owners, helping others is where her passion lies.

Jacqueline’s professional journey began at the age of twelve as a choreographer at her grandmother’s dance studio. By age eighteen, Jacqueline was an entrepreneur, owning and operating three dance studios. Within five years, she owned and operated businesses in three additional industries while pursuing her education at the University of Southern Mississippi. For the past 28 years, Jacqueline subsequently worked as an Operations Management Consultant, coaching small business owners from various industries. While working as an Operations Management Consultant, Jackie also worked as a Field Control Coach Auditor and District Manager for Waffle House locations in Mississippi and Louisiana. She has a passion for helping people combined with a successful history of coaching entrepreneurs.

As an alumnus of the University of Southern Mississippi, Jacqueline earned a Master of Business Administration degree, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Science in Management. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society. She is also a member of Enactus, an organization whose mission is to use businesses as a catalyst for positive social and environmental impact by utilizing innovation and entrepreneurship to solve the world’s biggest problems.

Much of Jacqueline’s free time is spent hanging out with Brinley Elise, her six-pound Chorkie. Brinley loves fetching her little pink Frisbee and creating content for her 6,000+ TikTok followers. Jacqueline also enjoys making new culinary creations for her family and friends.
